Why this exists
DG Technologies is building a small archive-led research section that connects public historical sources to the work we do today: CCTV, AV distribution, Wi-Fi, control systems, intercoms, cinemas, lighting and low-voltage infrastructure.
These are not ordinary blog posts and they are not sales pages. They are research notes. Historical claims are separated from DG's own installation experience, and archive references are listed so the trail can be checked later.
Each article starts with a specific archive lead rather than a generic technology theme.
The focus is Durban, Natal, KwaZulu-Natal and the way technology appeared here.
