If a camera drops once, it may be a cable, power supply, PoE port or camera fault.

If the same camera drops after every storm, that pattern matters. If the same room loses audio after every power event, that matters. If the same TV source fails after a router change or decoder swap, that matters.

AV and low-voltage systems are often affected by work that happens later.

The support history can show whether the system has been stable, whether problems repeat, whether parts are still available, whether the network has been changed, and whether a phased upgrade makes more sense than another short-term repair.
